Step 2: Paint the pot or planter white after the primer has dried. NOTE: You may need to apply more than one coat of white paint if it’s thin.

Step 3: Once the paint has dried, paint the red stripes on the right side of the pot to symbolize the stripes on the American Flag. NOTE: You can use painter’s tape to make the stripes straight.

Step 4: Add the star stickers to the left side and then paint it blue, and once the paint has dried, you can peel off the sticker to reveal the white paint. NOTE: If you don’t want to use the star stickers, you can paint the painter blue and then hand-paint the stars onto to planter or pot.

Step 5: Take a plastic grocery bag and place it at the bottom of the planter or pot and then fill it with ice. NOTE: This help to remove puddles if your ice melts.

Step 6: Add your favorite condiment bottles to the ice to keep them cold.
